Managra- Modern Day Rememberance

Managra was an early 90s band from the MI scene that was pretty much forgotten except for a handful of bands (Ordination of Aaron, Broken Hearts are Blue). It's some fucked up combination of post-hardcore and 90s emotional hardcore, and it totally brings the awesome, awesome pain.

Ten Grand- This is the Way to Rule

Ten Grand got hooked on Fugazi and created a post-hardcore classic.

Seriously, for whatever reason people still don't know about this band. This is the band that will get fucking high regards in the future once people realize just how good they are.

This album is a lot different than their previous two lps, The Comprehensive List and Our Miracle Point of Contact. It contains almost no screamed vocals at all, although the dual vocals are as good as ever.

Life Detecting Coffins- Catatonic Begat Napoleonic

This band shares members with Off Minor. Saying that, you must realize that this is very, very, very different from anything Off Minor, or Saetia from that matter has ever done. Regardless, it's still great music.

Rain- La Vache Qui Rit

Oops, seems I haven't updated this in a super long time. All my fault. Three major things have happened that have caused a month long absence of posting.

Kidcrash Discography

Kidcrash are quite possibly the best band to ever come out of the genre of emo/screamo/whinyfaggotbullshit. Next to City of Caterpillar and Damezumari, they're one of the best ever. Here is everything that they've released so far, in order from favorite to least favorite.

New Ruins is really pop-punk and stuff, and it's from a time when the band was known as "The Kidcrash." After getting fucked over by Lujo Records, they dropped the "The" from their name and became even more fucking badass.

Four Hundred Years- The New Imperialism

Four Hundred Years were a pretty awesome, and underrated, band from the 90s. This is my favorite release by them. It sounds like a pretty mellow screamo/post-hardcore/punk combination, and you can definitely hear a Fugazi influence.

But then again, who the fuck hasn't been influenced by Fugazi?

The Newfound Interest in Connecticut- Tell Me About the Long Dark Paths Home

I can't say I've been enthralled to even bother listen to a post-rock album in a long time. Most of it is just the same shit of build-up (usually with lots of delay), climax, decrescendo: repeat. This album really has a different feel to it. Some of the songs are much longer, lighter, instrumental, and give off a nice refreshing post-rock vibe. The vocals are more jagged then typical post-rock vocals.

And then out of nowhere, this album becomes much more post-hardcore. I can't say it was a super large shock, or it stayed a long time, but it was really nice to see these two genres get a mix together.

I still don't have any interest to download any post-rock album, but this album still provides a fresh breather of air.

Two really fuck awesome math rock bands get together and make a split lp that takes the biggest shit on any other split lp. ever.

but really, it's impossible not to enjoy this.

Daniel Striped Tiger- Certain Stuff

When I first heard their cd Capital Cities, I wasn't really that impressed with DST. But someone lit a fire under this bands ass, because Certain Stuff rules.

Members of Majority Rule and City of Caterpillar join up and make some 'mellow' post-hardcore. This is their second release, but really, this band rules, like any band would that has ex-members of pg.99.

In Pieces- Lions Write History

This is probably my favorite post-hardcore album ever. The only album I can see passing this is Vheissu, but even that seems like a challenge. This album is everything I love about this genre.
